Abstract

Ushbu maqola Gerbert Spenserning “Sotsial statika” asariga bag‘ishlangan bo‘lib, u zamonaviy sotsiologiyaning asosiy manbalaridan biri hisoblanadi. Kitobda ijtimoiy taraqqiyot g‘oyasi, shaxsiy erkinlik prinsiplari va ijtimoiy tartibni saqlashdagi institutlarning roli muhokama qilinadi. Spenser, Darvinning evolyutsion nazariyasidan ta’sirlanib, jamiyatlar, organizmlar kabi, tabiiy tanlov orqali vaqt o‘tishi bilan rivojlanishini ta’kidlaydi. Maqola Spenserning asaridagi asosiy mavzularini, uning keyingi sotsiologik tafakkurga ta’sirini va unga nisbatan bildirilgan tanqidlarni tahlil qiladi.
