Аннотация
This article explores a contrastive analysis of the word order patterns in simple sentence structures of English and Uzbek, two linguistically distinct languages from the Indo-European and Turkic families, respectively. The study highlights key differences and similarities in sentence construction, focusing on the basic word order (SVO in English and SOV in Uzbek), verb placement, negation, adjective-noun ordering, and the formation of questions.
