Аннотация

This study explores the development and improvement of English language skills, focusing on listening, reading, writing, and speaking. English has become a global lingua franca, essential for academic success, professional growth, and intercultural communication.

The research highlights the importance of each skill, their interdependence, and effective strategies for skill enhancement. Listening improves comprehension and pronunciation, reading expands vocabulary and critical thinking, writing facilitates coherent expression, and speaking promotes fluency and interaction. Integrated approaches, multimedia resources, guided exercises, and consistent practice are emphasized as key methods for achieving balanced skill development. The study also identifies common challenges faced by learners, including limited exposure, lack of practice, and insufficient feedback, and proposes practical solutions to overcome them. By applying evidence-based strategies, learners can achieve comprehensive communicative competence and confidence in using English in diverse contexts.
