Аннотация
This article examines new and innovative directions in English language teaching and methodology, focusing on their theoretical foundations and practical applications. The study analyzes the shift from traditional teaching methods to modern approaches such as communicative language teaching, task-based learning, and student-centered instruction. It also highlights the significant role of digital technologies and interactive strategies in enhancing the effectiveness of language learning. Special attention is given to the development of learners’ communicative competence, critical thinking, and motivation through innovative practices. Furthermore, the research discusses the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing modern methodologies in educational settings. The findings indicate that the integration of innovative approaches contributes to improving the overall quality of English language education and supports the development of learners’ linguistic and communicative abilities.
