Аннотация
This article examines the increasing importance of distance learning in modern education systems. It highlights the role of educational technologies in enhancing teaching and learning processes, based on the principles defined by UNESCO. The study emphasizes the transition from traditional teacher-centered instruction to learner-centered approaches supported by information and communication technologies.
Special attention is given to the features of distance learning, including flexibility, accessibility, and interactive communication between students and instructors regardless of location. The article also analyzes the use of digital tools such as electronic resources, multimedia materials, and online platforms, which contribute to the development of learners’ independence, creativity, and professional competence.
