in the current Uzbek literature, the image of Samarkand is widely covered in various genres. This article analyzes how the historical, cultural, modern and spiritual aspects of Samarkand are reflected in modern literature. Through historical works, the rich history of Samarkand and the awakening of national pride, the preservation of national values and traditions through the illumination of its cultural heritage, the description of the state and development processes of the city today through the image of modern life, and the depiction of the religious and spiritual wealth of the city through spiritual and spiritual images are discussed. These works are of great importance in introducing readers to the rich heritage of Samarkand, in the realization of the national identity and in the preservation of national values.
