Аннотация
The article explores how authentic materials support the development of listening comprehension in English language learning. Authentic audio resources introduce learners to genuine linguistic input, including natural pronunciation, spontaneous speech, and culturally relevant information. Through analyzing pedagogical advantages, potential difficulties, and effective teaching strategies, the study shows that real-life listening materials increase students’ motivation, enhance their listening accuracy, and improve overall communicative competence. The results suggest that authentic materials are essential for bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world communication.
