Аннотация
This article examines modern linguodidactic approaches to teaching English and Uzbek proverbs. Proverbs are important linguistic and cultural units that reflect the wisdom, traditions, and values of a nation. The study analyzes the role of proverbs in language teaching, vocabulary development, communicative competence, and intercultural communication. Special attention is paid to the use of interactive methods and modern educational technologies in teaching proverbs. The findings show that proverbs contribute significantly to the effectiveness of language learning and the development of learners’ cultural awareness.
