Аннотация
Through enhancing students' linguistic proficiency and cultural knowledge, literature has considerable effects on English language learning. Students are exposed to real language through literary books, which also improve reading comprehension, expand vocabulary, and foster critical and analytical thinking. Furthermore, literature offers relevant situations that boost students' enthusiasm and creativity while fostering the growth of speaking, writing, listening, and interpretive abilities. Students improve their intercultural competency by learning more about various cultures, beliefs, and viewpoints via the examination of literary works. This article addresses successful methods for incorporating literary texts into English language classes, investigates the educational value of literature in English language learning, and looks at its contribution to language development. The study comes to the conclusion that literature is an essential educational tool that fosters students' intellectual and personal growth in addition to linguistic competency.
