Abstract
Leeches, parasitic on fish, are mainly organisms that pose a threat to fish health and disrupt their vital activity. Leeches typically inhabit the skin, internal organs, or skeletal system of fish, feeding the fish, and in some cases leading to their death. In this article, we provide an overview of leeches parasitizing fish, their biology, effects, and dangers to fish.
