Abstract
Speaking is considered one of the most challenging skills for learners due to factors such as anxiety, lack of confidence, and limited opportunities for real-life communication. Drama-based activities, including role-play, improvisation, and simulation, provide learners with meaningful contexts to practice speaking. The research adopts a qualitative approach by analyzing existing literature and classroom practices. The findings indicate that drama techniques significantly improve learners’ fluency, pronunciation, and confidence. Moreover, these techniques foster creativity and active participation, making the learning process more engaging and effective.
