Abstract
This article explores the significant role of authentic materials in enhancing listening comprehension skills among language learners. Utilizing real-world texts and audio, authentic materials expose students to natural language use, fostering greater engagement and motivation. They bridge the gap between classroom instruction and practical communication, preparing learners for genuine linguistic encounters. The paper discusses the pedagogical benefits and offers practical strategies for effectively integrating these resources into language curricula. This approach ultimately aims to improve learners' ability to process and understand spoken language in diverse contexts.
