Abstract
This article presents a scientific analysis of the advantages of integrating physics and mathematics in the teaching and learning process, with particular emphasis on interdisciplinary education, mathematical modeling, problem-solving skills, conceptual understanding, scientific reasoning, and the practical application of theoretical knowledge. The close relationship between physics and mathematics provides an effective foundation for connecting abstract mathematical concepts with real-world physical phenomena. The article examines how the integration of mathematical functions, equations, graphs, vectors, derivatives, integrals, and statistical methods into physics education can improve students’ understanding of both disciplines. Particular attention is given to the role of integrated instruction in developing analytical thinking, quantitative literacy, experimental competence, and the ability to interpret scientific data. The educational potential of problem-based learning, mathematical modeling, laboratory activities, graphical analysis, and technology-supported instruction is also considered.
