Аннотация
This study aims to investigate the clinical significance of iron metabolism disorders in patients with chronic heart failure. The results of the study indicate that iron deficiency significantly worsens the clinical condition of patients, reducing physical activity, increasing fatigue and shortness of breath, and decreasing the effectiveness of treatment.
Laboratory parameters ferritin, transferrin saturation, and hepcidin are important tools for assessing iron status and enabling early diagnosis. Parenteral iron therapy has been shown to improve patients’ functional status, enhance quality of life, and reduce complications associated with the disease. The study demonstrates that monitoring iron metabolism and developing individualized treatment strategies in patients with chronic heart failure are of critical clinical importance.
