Аннотация
The study examines idioms as significant linguistic units of literary discourse and analyzes them from semantic, structural, and stylistic perspectives. A comparative analysis reveals similarities and differences between English and Uzbek idiomatic expressions, highlighting their role in representing national culture and individual authorial style. The findings of the research contribute to the fields of phraseology, comparative linguistics, and literary studies.
