Abstract

This article examines how authentic materials contribute to the improvement of listening comprehension in English language learning. Authentic resources expose learners to natural linguistic input, including real-life vocabulary, pronunciation variations, and spontaneous speech patterns. The research highlights methodological strategies for using authentic audio materials and analyzes their impact on learner motivation, cognitive engagement, and communicative competence. The findings demonstrate that authentic materials significantly enhance learners’ listening comprehension and help bridge the gap between classroom instruction and real communication.
