Hozirgi vaqtda planetamizdagi haqiqiy arilar oilasi sistematik jihatdan Hymenoptera turkumiga birlashib hozirgi vaqtda 5000 ga yaqin ari turlari ma’lum, ammo ularning barchasida hayot shakllari bir xillikda emas. Asosan ikki: yakka va jamoa yashovchi arilar toifalariga ajraladi.
