Abstract

This article analyzes the issues of translation and contemporary literature in the context of the 20th–21st century Uzbek literary process, using the works of Aleksandr Faynberg as an example. The study examines Faynberg's life, creative activity, role in poetry and translation, and his contribution to Russian-Uzbek cultural relations. The article is based on research by literary scholars, scientific articles, and literary works, showing the impact of translation and cultural communication on the development of literature (Karimov, 2015; Faynberg, 2005; Meliqo‘ziyeva, 2023). The results of the study indicate that Faynberg's work is important not only for the development of Uzbek literature but also for establishing intercultural dialogue.
