Аннотация

This article analyzes the current problems in teaching the Uzbek language and literature in schools of Uzbekistan. It provides an in-depth examination of issues such as unadapted curricula, the quality of textbooks, teachers' methodological preparedness, and the subjectivity of assessment criteria. The paper also offers practical recommendations based on modern pedagogical approaches to overcome these challenges. It aims to contribute to the improvement of the literary and linguistic education process and may serve as a useful resource for teachers, researchers, and education specialists.
