Abstract
The features of authorial representation and narrative organization in the epistolary prose of the modern French writer Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, whose works are well known to the Russian-speaking reader, are studied. This paper examines the forms of narration, means of self-nomination, lexical units, syntactic features and stylistic devices that express the author’s position in the epistolary texts of E.-E. Schmitt.
