Abstract
This article examines the didactic possibilities of developing perceptive competence in future foreign language teachers within the system of higher education. The research focuses on the importance of perceptive competence as a key component of professional and communicative competence in modern pedagogical activity. The article analyzes contemporary approaches to foreign language teaching, including student-centered learning, interactive teaching methods, communicative technologies, and digital educational tools. Particular attention is paid to the development of empathy, pedagogical sensitivity, observation skills, and effective interpersonal communication abilities among future teachers. The study also highlights the psychological and pedagogical foundations of perceptive competence and its role in establishing productive teacher-student interaction. In addition, the article discusses the didactic conditions and methodological opportunities necessary for improving perceptive competence in the educational process. The research emphasizes that the effective integration of innovative pedagogical approaches contributes to professional growth, teaching quality, and successful communication in foreign language education.
