Abstract
Mobile applications have become an important component of modern English language learning due to the rapid development of digital technologies and the widespread use of smartphones. These applications provide learners ith flexible, accessible, and interactive opportunities to improve their language skills anytime and anywhere. Mobile-assisted language learning supports the development of vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through multimedia resources, gamification elements, and personalized learning experiences.
This article examines the role of mobile applications in English language learning, analyzes their educational benefits and challenges, and evaluates their impact on learner motivation and language proficiency. The findings indicate that mobile applications contribute significantly to autonomous learning, continuous practice, and improved learning outcomes.
Furthermore, emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and augmented reality are expected to enhance the effectiveness of mobile language learning in the future.
