Abstract

Purpose – Anchored primarily in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and extended with complementary insights from Social Cognitive Theory and Human Capital Theory, this study examines the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) adoption on university students’ academic success and career readiness, proposing AI literacy and critical thinking skills as parallel mediating variables.
