Аннотация

This article analyzes the essence, significance, and basic principles of the methodology of teaching history. Along with the development of students' skills in understanding, analyzing, and evaluating the causes and consequences of historical events, the subject of history plays an important role in the formation of national identity and a sense of patriotism. The article details the principles of scientificity, historicity, systematicity and consistency, activity and independence, vitality and connection with practice, integration and upbringing in teaching history. Effective use of these principles contributes to the development of students' ability to think independently, correctly understand historical processes, and draw conclusions from them.
