Аннотация
This study investigates the representation of proverbs reflecting interpersonal relations in English and Uzbek languages. Through a comparative analysis of proverbs from these linguistic traditions, the research explores common themes, cultural nuances, and shared values surrounding human interactions. From expressions of trust and cooperation to warnings about betrayal and discord, the proverbs offer glimpses into the intricacies of social dynamics and the enduring aspirations for mutual understanding and harmony. By examining the parallels and disparities in proverbial wisdom between English and Uzbek, this study sheds light on the universal principles that underpin interpersonal relations while also highlighting the cultural specificities that shape linguistic expression.
